Abstract
The transformation kinetics, transformation products, Msand Mftemperatures and time-temperature transformation diagram have been investigated. These phase transformations have been studied by means of the dilatometric analysis, optical and electron microscopy and hardness tests. Martensitic transformation and its decomposition when it is heat treated, has also been studied at different temperatures. This ageing process provides better hardness values than the original martensitic structure.
